Cellock presented at the Launch Event of the SUPMed Project titled, “Reducing the Consumption and Disposal of Single-use Plastics in the Tourism Industry in Cyprus, Greece and Malta” which took place online on the 8th of April 2021, at 11am-12:45pm, and was organized by the coordinator of this project: Aspon Consulting.
The aim of the Launch Event was to give a chance to the involved stakeholders to present to the general public their role, position, responsibilities and deliverables for SUPMed. With over 10 speakers and more than 80 attendees this event, was a milestone in the progress of this initiative.
The Panelists who represented the involved Partners of this project, who presented at the event were: Mr. Michalis Zanos, Mr. Alexandros Partaouridis, Mrs Christina Tsiarta and Mrs. Diamanto Giannara from Aspon Consulting, Mr.Gian Luca Bombarda, Fund Director, and Mrs. Małgorzata Nowak, Fund Manager, both from the Fund Operator – ECORYS, Mrs. Maria Symeonidou, from the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Mrs Christina Archontaki from the Anelixis Development Consultants S.A. (Anelixis), Mr. Marinos Hadjipetris from Cellock Ltd, Mrs. Donalda Karnauskaite from AIS Environment (AIS), and Mr. Philokypros Roussounides from the Cyprus Hotel Association (CHA).
Following the end of the presentations there was an extensive Questions & Answers Session, where the attendees had a chance to comment and ask find out additional details on this project. Everyone that participated at the event was very enthusiastic and very optimistic that this event, will have a significant positive income in the economy and the environment overall.
